La Lanterna experience is inspired by the traditional simplicity of tavernas, which has been refined to the point of becoming a moment of sophisticated culinary pleasure. Pamela Paredi and her Team created La Lanterna by joining their skills and their passion for the earth its products, for creativity, and for hospitality.

Pamela Paredi

I started with Hasbro's Easy-Bake Oven, and I haven's stopped since. (Pamela Paredi)

Pamela Paredi was born in 1984 on Lake Como. After training at the CFP Hotel School in Casargo, Valsassina and achieving very good results, she developed an outstanding curriculum working in some of Europe’s best restaurants and travelling betweem London, Paris, and Engandina.

However, Valsolda stole her heart. After a few years in the historical Stella d’Italia hotel in S. Mamete, where she also met her mentor, Angelo Foiera, she felt ready to fly solo and to shape the dream of a lifetime. This is how La Lanterna was born.
